A VERY NAUGHTY HALLOWEEN

Tier 1 Tickets are Sold Out, sign up soon before the Tier 2 tickets are sold out.

Naughty is expanding in New Orleans for a second, complete hotel takeover at the NOPSI Hotel, October 21-25, 2026. This is one of the best times to visit New Orleans, with fantastic weather and numerous great events celebrating the Halloween season.  This is the best city in the US for a Halloween Ball; the entire city oozes with ghost stories and haunted houses.

This will be a 3-night event with an optional fourth night, featuring an optional field trip to The Mortuary, followed by a party at Colette.

.

THE MORTUARY FIELD TRIP

At the very “dead” end of world-famous Canal Street lies The Mortuary, a 150+ year old Grand Victorian Mansion, former funeral parlor, and crematorium… surrounded by New Orleans’ famed “Cities of the Dead” and sits among more than a million graves in a one-square-mile radius. “Between 1930 and 2003, more than 20,000 funerals took place within its walls, the blood and bodily fluids of the dead swirling into a drain in the embalming room deep in the basement catacombs.”  For many years, people from near and far journeyed to this breathtaking building to pay their last respects to dear departed loved ones.

“It’s not your typical Haunted House,” says Jeff Borne owner of The Mortuary. “Ghost Hunters from around the world have come to The Mortuary to experience unearthly entities throughout the property year-round. Now add to what is undoubtedly a very scary environment to begin with, state-of-the-art animatronics, theatrical sets, movie-quality actors in makeup, and unbelievable ghostly special effects, and you get to experience one of the most terrifying Halloween haunts ever.”

The Mortuary is a unique, world-class haunted attraction because of the realism of the property. “We build sets and bring in props, but much of what guests see and experience is real. It is the true nature of the property. It’s elegant and at the same time, intensely scary.” Location, location, location, as they say. The property is on World Famous Canal Street in a real mortuary, surrounded by real cemeteries. It just doesn’t get any better than this!

Buses will leave from the NOPSI Hotel, starting at 7 pm and running every 15-20 minutes. The tickets for this optional event will be announced a month prior to the event.

PARTY AT COLETTE

After returning from the Mortuary, there will be a party for those early birds who came in early. There will be a party at colette from 10 pm till 2 am. This party is included in your 4-night package and is a BYOB party. Our hosts will show you where you can pick up something to bring to the party. colette is a world-class club located half a block from our main hotel, and your badges will get you right in.

THEME NIGHTS

There will be three unique themes for the weekend hotel takeover. You don't have to dress up, but why not? Most people will, and it is always fun to get dressed up and be part of the celebration.

Dia De La Muertos Fiesta: A Día de los Muertos Fiesta translates to a "Day of the Dead Fiesta" or "Day of the Dead Celebration" in English, which is a multi-day festival, most prominently celebrated in Mexico, to honor and remember deceased loved ones. The celebration involves creating altars with offerings, decorating gravesites, and gathering with family to share food and stories, often featuring cultural elements like sugar skulls, vibrant colors, marigolds, and skull-themed makeup to embrace life and death rather than mourn it.

We will have face painters for those who want to get painted in the traditional way, and we will have a special guest DJ who will bring some Latin Vibes to the party.

Vampire Ball: A vampire ball belongs in New Orleans because the city's dark history, including real and imagined associations with unexplained deaths and the occult, fuels a vibrant vampire culture, the presence of a major port attracted various individuals throughout history, and its deep embrace of its macabre, "City of the Dead" reputation provides the best setting in the country for such an event. Will you encounter Lestat or Louis, characters from Anne Rice's Interview with a Vampire, set in 1791 Spanish Louisiana?

New Orleans features a unique vampire culture, including the Boutique du Vampyre in the French Quarter and the Vampire Cafe

Halloween Ball: New Orleans is perfect for a Halloween ball because of its unique blend of Voodoo culture, gothic atmosphere, and haunted lore, creating an intrinsically spooky and festive environment for elaborate costumes and dark revelry. There will be lots of Tricks and Treats tonight, so dress up as your favorite Halloween character. If you have the best costume, you might win a free pass to next year's event. Bonus points for creativity!

Besides three super Spooky themed balls, there will be Meet & Greets, a Dungeon, a Playroom, Classes, Vendors, Great DJ's, Pool Parties, and much more. This Halloween will be unforgettable!

NAUGHTY NOPSI NIGHTS

The bar will be open and music will be set up in the NOPSI's beautiful lobby to entertain you each evening while you sit around Harry's Gin Bar, where you can get a classic cocktail, one of the Drink of the Day's, or a simple libation. We will have one of our Naughty Piano Bar entertainers playing sing-alongs, and we will also schedule Meet & Greets in this beautiful space.

NAUGHTY PLAY SPACES

We will have two dungeons dedicated to those looking for kinky options during the Naughty Halloween weekend and a private area upstairs for classes and late-night social activities.

VENDOR AREA

We will have at least eight vendors selling everything from custom corsets to rope, floggers, and whips to clothing, leather, and fetish wear. There will be costumes and accessories to help you look absolutely frightful. We are also teaming up with some great local shops that have wigs, vampire wear, gothic clothing, hats, and other sexy accessories.

SEANCE LOUNGE

We will also have a lounge where you can hang out and meet other Naughty attendees before and after the balls. It's a great place to relax and hang out without loud music and big crowds.

CLASSES AND SEMINARS

Just like our flagship event, Naughty N'awlins, Naughty Halloween will have classes, seminars, workshops, Meet & Greets, and daytime events. The focus will not be on Bourbon St (although you are welcome to go explore on your own). This event is smaller and will have lots of daytime activities and events in the hotel and possibly at a few nearby venues.

NOPSI HOTEL

A Complete Takeover of the beautiful NOPSI Hotel gives our event privacy and a great location just steps to colette, the French Quarter, Bourbon St, and the Krewe of Boo Parade on Saturday Night. This hotel will sell out quickly, so make sure you get into the main hotel so you don't have to walk to the big events.

The hotel is one of the nicest in downtown New Orleans and they have some great rooms and suites.

ROOFTOP MEET & GREETS

The rooftop pool will be open for Meet & Greets and as a great place to hang out and get to know people.

NOPSI RESTAURANT

The restaurant at the NOPSI Hotel will be another great meeting point with amazing local cuisine, in a very upscale atmosphere. Whether joining friends for dinner or grabbing a drink at the bar, the hotel offers lots of places to hang out, meet people and catch up with friends.

KREWE OF BOO PARADE

The Krewe of Boo is New Orleans' official Halloween parade, featuring 3-D fiberglass and papier-mâché floats with family-friendly spooky characters, thrown candy, and themed throws like voodoo dolls and medallions. Founded in 2007 by "Mr. Mardi Gras" Blaine Kern Sr., the popular event includes a parade through the French Quarter, then up and back down Canal Street (just two blocks from our hotel!), and it ends in the Warehouse District. Onlookers are encouraged to wear costumes and enjoy the Halloween atmosphere as they catch throws like candy, toys, and beads.

We encourage everyone to head to Canal St, in their costume, to watch the parade (and catch stuff!) and then head to the Halloween Ball on Sat night.

OPTIONAL EVENT: ZOMBIE RUN!

If you are up to it, you can participate in the annual Zombie Run, put on by the Krewe of Boo. You have to get up really early to get dressed, but it is a lot of fun. The run starts Saturday morning, October 24, 2026, and you can wear your bio-hazard suit, gas mask, zombie make-up, or other monster costume and join in the seventh annual New Orleans Zombie Run on Saturday, October 25, 2026, at 9:00 am for a zombie-infested 2-mile race through the Warehouse District.

Escape the clutches of the Big Easy Roller Derby, who are the Zombie Killers! The outbreak is contained in downtown New Orleans, where a quarantine zone has been mapped out for zombies, humans, and monsters alike.
